Petrofac acquires Eclipse Petroleum Technology


Eclipse has around 50 employees operating from five offices in Aberdeen, London, Stavanger, Houston and Dubai

Petrofac has acquired Eclipse Petroleum Technology, which specialises in production eng¬ineering, for US $14m, comprising of $12m in cash and $2m to be satisfied with 158,177 ordinary shares which will vest in two years’ time.

Eclipse has around 50 employees operating from five offices in Aberdeen, London, Stavanger, Houston and Dubai. Its life-of-field services include: field development, production modelling and optimisation, well life cycle risk management and petroleum engineering functional consulting.
