North Sea-focused Endeavour International has bounced into the black in the second quarter this year, returning a US $3m net profit, compared to a loss of $3.5m in the same quarter last year.
Endeavour said revenues for the second quarter, boosted by high sales volumes of 10,222 boe/d were up 273% to $86.3m from $31.6m in the same period in 2007 and $61.3m reported in the first quarter of 2008.
The company is currently assessing the results from the successful Galtvort natural gas discovery and appraisal offshore Norway (Endeavour 2.5%).
Norwegian exploration drilling is also currently underway, with two exploration wells now being drilled on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
